My work is about the body. My body is about my work
Mi trabajo es sobre el cuerpo. Mi cuerpo es sobre mi trabajo



How do you do it? / ¿Cómo lo haces?
Naturally. I believe that doing my work is when I flow in a genuine and sincere way to myself and to others. My work comes out of my head, intuitive mental images which emerge from my context and then are absorbed into a space of rationality turning bodies into unprejudiced scenery./
Naturalmente. Creo que al hacer mi trabajo es cuando fluyo de forma auténtica y sincera conmigo misma y los demás. Mi trabajo sale de mi cabeza, son imágenes mentales intuitivas que emergen de mis contextos y luego son absorbidas en un espacio de racionalidad convirtiendo los cuerpos en paisajes desprejuiciados.



Why do you do it? / ¿Por qué lo haces?
I am incapable of communicating through words. If I don’t produce these mental images I cannot sleep at nights. I let go of them. If I keep them inside my body they emotionally torture me./
Tengo una imposibilidad de comunicarme por medio de la palabra. Si no hago estas imágenes mentales no duermo bien a la noche. Las dejo salir. Si las mantengo en mi cuerpo me torturan emocionalmente.


What artists have influenced you and why? / ¿Qué artistas han influído en tu obra y por qué?

El Bosco, Xul Solar, Alessandra Sanguinetti…and Susana, an Argentine woman I met in Mexico and who set me in motion with her “no futurear”. (Don't talk about the things you are going to do, just do it. )
However, I really feel more influenced by texts I read (Simone de Beauvouir) or songs I listen to (Violeta Parra) than by images./
Artistas. El Bosco, Xul Solar, Alessandra Sanguinetti… y Susana, una mujer argentina que conocí en México y que provocó en mí el movimiento con su “no futurear”. (No hables de lo que vas a hacer, sino hace las cosas)
No obstante me siento más influenciada por cosas que leo (Simon de Beauvouir) o canciones que escucho (Violeta Parra) que por imágenes.
